Dancing Man

We play a lot of music in the house.  We've usually got the Raffi Pandora station streaming.  I noticed that Bennett was dancing to some of the songs.  It's gotten a lot more pronounced lately.  I got some on video.  I noticed that the songs that he would dance most to had a strong beat, so now instead of the Raffi station we have been listening to a lot of Jimmy Buffett radio, the beat is just better for dancing! :)

The first video you can't really hear the music, but if you start singing "Day-O" at the beginning, the "dance" goes along with that.  Even after seeing the video, Blake thought Bennett's dancing was just a coincidence, so the second video is later at night when Bennett could properly show off his new moves.  He usually has to hold on to something, but he is getting to the point to where he stands in the middle of the room and bobs up and down.  I think it's hilarious, and try to get him to do it as much as possible.  He has always had a love of dance and music (it WAS the Justin Timberlake dance party I was having when my water broke).

We are off to Washington DC next week and have plans to see Blake's cousin Jeff and his fiance Kayla, Blake's cousin Justine and her fiance Matthew, and go to the Children's Museum and the zoo.   Mom is just excited to get into the city, eat some delicious food, walk around the neighborhood, go to Starbucks, and maybe do some shopping! :)
