Thanksgiving and Family

My, it has been a busy two weeks.  The family came to town and we had a fantastic time at the beach house and touring around Charleston with them.  It was so great to have them be here to share in our every day and to see where we are living and get a closer peek into our lives here.

We also got to celebrate Thanksgiving together, which was fantastic!  We definitely have a lot to be thankful for this year.   Everyone stayed at the same beach condo that Blake and I lived in for a month when we first moved here, it was great for us to get back to the beach, and was a nice reminder of the year we've spent here.

The weather was fantastic!  When everyone arrived it was almost 80 degrees, it rained on Wednesday, but then by Thanksgiving day it was mid-60's and perfectly sunny.  It was fantastic!  We only had one minor problem, and that is when the power went out for the entire island on Thanksgiving morning!  We were Skyping with the Stulc's but that was ended and we had to find other ways to entertain ourselves for the hour and a half the kitchen was out of commission, most of us walked on the beach, it was a very rough day.

On Saturday we at lunch of downtown and then took a tour, Blake snapped some photos while we were walking around

It was nice to just relax and have a mini-vacation in our own town.  Blaire and Chad came in on Friday evening and we spent the weekend relaxing, sight-seeing, fishing (for the boys), and introducing the non-Antelope/Plentywood residents to Antelope rummy.  Chad and I learned very quickly who NOT to sit by...

Can't believe it's December and Christmas is almost here!
